Raneri is a small village of 3549 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Raneri depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Raneri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Raneri's pin code is 342301^[4], and village code is 01910700. The area of Raneri is segregated as 1401.04 hectares unirrigated, the 1261.7 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 886.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Raneri is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 793 and has total administration over 137 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 206 male, 136 female with 190 (55.56%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 143 males and 47 females. 74 males and 24 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 10 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 152 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell ferniture and make their living.
