Mosaic Law And Clean Animals

From Conservapedia

The Mosaic law had the category of clean animals which the Israelites were permitted to eat and the category of unclean animals which they were not permitted to eat.

The prominent Christian answers website Gotquestions.org defines clean animals thusly: "land animals that chew the cud and have a divided hoof, such as cattle, deer, goats, and sheep; seafood with both fins and scales, such as bluegill, grouper, and cod; certain birds, including chickens, doves, and ducks; and even some insects, such as grasshoppers and locusts."[1]
