Conservative Women

Throughout American history, women have often taken part in political movements, such as the Daughters of the Revolution. In the same tradition, women influence the Conservative Movement today.

Phyllis Schlafly[edit]

Schlafly was the main figure in the campaign against the Equal Rights Amendment in the 1970s, successfully defeating its passage. Today she leads the Eagle Forum.

Ann Coulter[edit]

Ann Coulter, the author of five New York Times bestsellers, has attained status as an icon of the Conservative movement. She maintains a weekly syndicated column and appears on shows like the canceled Hannity & Colmes.

Michelle Malkin[edit]

Malkin, who wrote several bestsellers, is also a columnist and one of the most influential bloggers on top of appearing on shows like Hannity.

Laura Ingraham[edit]

Ingraham is a radio host and commentator who fills in often on The O'Reilly Factor. She also has her own show named “The Ingraham Angle” which airs on Fox News

Michele Bachmann[edit]

Bachmann is the founder of the Tea Party Caucus in the House of Representatives from Minnesota. She ran for President in 2012 and had strong debate performances.

Sarah Palin[edit]

Palin is the former Governor of Alaska and was McCain's running-mate for President in 2008. She is now an influential pundit.
