Dei Khera is a small village of 1020 hectares in Indragarh Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dei Khera depends on LAKHERI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Dei Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dei Khera's pin code is 323603[3], and village code is 02742800. The area of Dei Khera is segregated as 862.54 hectares irrigated area, 9.35 hectares unirrigated, the 19.51 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 128.33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dei Khera is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3157 and has total administration over 625 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Dei Khera has 375 children, 190 boys and 185 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 217 (6.87%) males constitute 112 (3.55%) of the population and females 105 (3.33%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 1429 (45.26%) males constitute 763 (24.17%) of the population and females 666 (21.10%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1676 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 906 male, 770 female with 987 (58.89%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 691 males and 296 females. 316 males and 46 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 188 male and 191 female agricultural labor. 689 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of LAKHERI and Bundi to sell earthen pots and make their living.
