Frank E. Peretti is a American minister and author. He was born in Canada, and spent most of his childhood in Seattle. Hence, most of his novels take place in the northwestern United States. Much of his ministry work has been in the Assemblies of God churches.
Peretti's work Hangman's Curse was made into a film in 2004. Again, in 2006, Peretti's novel The Visitation was released on DVD. It starred Edward Furlong and Martin Donovan. The film differed from the book in several ways. In 2007, his work House is expected to hit theaters. He is currently writing the script for Monster, and also desires to make This Present Darkness and The Oath into films.
