Doll

Doll could be a child's toy having the likeness of a human. Also a pretty child or girl.

The doll is perhaps humankind's oldest toy. Some ancient dolls may have served religious or magical functions — as do voodoo dolls in modern times. Britannica Concise Encyclopedia.

African dolls are created for girls to play with and as a charm to insure fertility in women.
