Gang is a small village of 955 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gang depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 70.12% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gang is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gang's pin code is 343040[4], and village code is 02339400. The area of Gang is segregated as 212.28 hectares irrigated area, 180.09 hectares unirrigated, the 107.32 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 455.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Gang has One post office (Gong B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Gang has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Gang is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2126 and has total administration over 369 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Gang has 325 children, 172 boys and 153 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 126 (5.93%) males constitute 67 (3.15%) of the population and females 59 (2.78%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 127 (5.97%) males constitute 69 (3.25%) of the population and females 58 (2.73%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1078 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 573 male, 505 female with 1025 (95.08%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 557 males and 468 females. 269 males and 339 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 80 male and 57 female agricultural labor. 53 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SANCHORE and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
