This measure sought to replace the current school levy with one set at a rate of $.27 for a period of four years in order to further pay for school facility and technology improvement costs in the district.^[2]

The question on the ballot:

The Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 11-019, concerning a proposition to fund improvements to school facilities and technology systems. This proposition authorizes the District to levy the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, upon taxable property within the District in support of its Capital Projects Fund: Collection Years: 2013-2016; Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $0.2704988; Levy Amount: $940,750. Should this proposition be approved?^[3]
