An Islamic Reformation refers to a desire by moderate Muslims to challenge what they view as the corruption of Islam by Jihadist terrorists.[1] The concept is similar to the Protestant Reformation in which Christian reformers challenged Catholic doctrine that was inconsistent with the original Old Testament and New Testament doctrine. The Qu'ran states that Moses and Jesus are prophets of God (named Allah in Islam), but Jihadists contrary to the Qu'ran are openly anti-Semitic and anti-Christian, when Islam identifies itself as the third Abrahamic faith alongside Judaism and Christianity, and claims that it is the purest representation of God's word that got diluted over the ages through alleged corruptions of Judaism and Christianity. Today, moderate Muslims fear that Islam is collapsing into anti-Semitic and anti-Christian Jihadism.
