Yarna is a small village of 166.8 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Yarna depends on Hanumanganj, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 50.69% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Yarna's pin code is 221507[4], and village code is 05463000. The area of Yarna is segregated as 115.89 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 50.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Yarna has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Yarna is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1499 and has total administration over 292 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 330 male, 126 female with 94 (20.61%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 74 males and 20 females. 3 males and 1 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 7 female agricultural labor. 362 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Hanumanganj and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
