Manera is a small village of 235.5 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manera depends on Satrikh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Satrikh (NP) and Barabanki to sell menthol and make their living.
