Manera is a small village of 235.5 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manera depends on Satrikh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Manera's pin code is 225122[4], and village code is 05766100. The area of Manera is segregated as 154.3 hectares irrigated area, 27.05 hectares unirrigated area. the 24.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 20.4 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Manera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Manera is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1832 and has total administration over 314 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Manera has 346 children, 161 boys and 185 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 314 (17.14%) males constitute 164 (8.95%) of the population and females 150 (8.19%).

According to a census 2011 report, 623 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 477 male, 146 female with 475 (76.24%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 425 males and 50 females. 285 males and 15 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 61 male and 21 female agricultural labor. 148 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Satrikh (NP) and Barabanki to sell menthol and make their living.
