Research in Motion (RIM) is the developer of the wireless device, the Blackberry. It was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario. It has been very successful selling the devices to corporations as the device works on a "Push" email system, but also works as a phone, text messenger and internet browsing. It has a growing customer base but also faces competition from devices like the iPhone and other "smart" phones.
