Interjection

From Conservapedia

An interjection is a word added to a sentence to convey emotion. Interjections are not grammatically connected to the other words in the sentence. They are typically not used in formal writing, except in direct quotations. Interjections can often take the form of swearwords. Non-swearword interjections include 'hey', 'yeah-but', and 'ouch'.
