Hawley And The Bible

Hawley and the Bible refers to a remarkable speech given by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) on September 12, 2022, in which he explained that the roots of the U.S. Constitution and the United States are in the Bible.

Sen. Hawley stated at the National Conservatism Conference:

“ Without the Bible, there is no modernity. Without the Bible, there is no America. ... We are a revolutionary nation precisely because we are heirs of the revolution of the Bible.[1] ”

This elicited a torrent of false liberal claptrap in response.[1]
