Morija is a small village of 2293 hectares in Chomu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Morija depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 696.37% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Morija is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Morija's pin code is 303805^[4], and village code is 01487300. The area of Morija is segregated as 720.5 hectares irrigated area, 666.22 hectares unirrigated, the 588.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 265.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Morija is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 13362 and has total administration over 2127 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 3415 male, 2542 female with 5127 (86.07%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 3077 males and 2050 females. 1549 males and 1698 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 75 male and 119 female agricultural labor. 830 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
