Mohana is a small village of 95.38 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mohana depends on Satrikh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mohana's pin code is 225121[4], and village code is 05770800. The area of Mohana is segregated as 72.405 hectares irrigated area, 19.8 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 21 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Mohana has Four public telephones. Mohana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mohana is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4136 and has total administration over 790 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 1374 (33.22%) males constitute 690 (16.68%) of the population and females 684 (16.54%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1905 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1139 male, 766 female with 1255 (65.88%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 889 males and 366 females. 458 males and 102 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 245 male and 142 female agricultural labor. 650 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Satrikh (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
