Keraliya is a small village of 3605 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Keraliya depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Keraliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Keraliya's pin code is 345026[4], and village code is 02054100. The area of Keraliya is segregated as 884 hectares unirrigated, the 2697 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of POKARAN and Jaisalmer to sell ghee and make their living.
