Civil Air Patrol

The Civil Air Patrol is the civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force that provides assistance to many government authorities, mainly in support and Search and Rescue capacities. It mainly works with the United States Department of Homeland Security, and local Law Enforcement agencies. The CAP's main missions consist of Emergency Services, Cadet Programs and Aerospace Education programs.
