Maraina is a small village of 600.2 hectares in Fatehabad Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maraina depends on Fatehabad (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. The area of Maraina is segregated as 136 hectares irrigated area, 174 hectares unirrigated, remaining 290.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Maraina is a census village in the district of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1960 and has total administration over 233 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Fatehabad (NP) and Agra to sell carpet and make their living.
