Fatehpur is a small village of 164.4 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Fatehpur depends on Bidhuna (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Fatehpur is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Fatehpur's pin code is 206248[4], and village code is 04109700. The area of Fatehpur is segregated as 106.6 hectares irrigated area, 0.4 hectares unirrigated area. the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 5.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Fatehpur is a census village in the district of Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1040 and has total administration over 184 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 272 (26.15%) males constitute 150 (14.42%) of the population and females 122 (11.73%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bidhuna (NP) and Auraiya to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
