Massachusetts public schools have long been the best in the United States, perhaps due to the influence of the 114 colleges and universities there.

RINO Sen. Mitt Romney, who was a one-term governor of Massachusetts, ran unsuccessfully for president in 2012 in part by emphasizing the achievement of public schools there, even though he had little to do with it.
