High Plains

From Conservapedia

The High Plains is an elevated region in the western portion of the Great Plains in the United States, extending until just east of the Rocky Mountains.

The High Plains also extends south into the panhandle of Texas.

Its water is largely supplied by the underground Ogallala Aquifer, which has been dropping about a foot per year as it slowly dries up.[1]
