Tunis

From Conservapedia

Tunis is the capital city of Tunisia and is sited close to the remains of ancient Carthage. Tunis is also the seat of the Tunisian President.

Tourism is a major component of the economy in Tunis and it is home to the famous Bardo Museum. This museum was originally a 13th century Hafsid palace. It contains an important collection of mosaics and artifacts from the Roman Empire and other antiquities from the Arab period.

The ruins of Carthage, another area of archaeological and tourist interest, are nearby along the coast to the north east.
