Chafala is a small village of 102 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chafala depends on Miyan ka Purwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chafala's pin code is 212401[4], and village code is 05566900. The area of Chafala is segregated as 77 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated area. the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Chafala has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chafala is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1127 and has total administration over 147 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 71 (6.30%) males constitute 40 (3.55%) of the population and females 31 (2.75%).

According to a census 2011 report, 468 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 234 male, 234 female with 312 (66.67%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 209 males and 103 females. 152 males and 51 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 44 female agricultural labor. 156 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Miyan ka Purwa and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
