Red Jersey

The Red Jersey ((Spanish: Maillot Rojo)) is awarded to the overall leader of the Vuelta a España at the conclusion of each stage of the race, the Red Jersey is often awarded to a variety of riders by the end of the tour. The Red Jersey is the Vuelta a España equivalent of the Tour de France's Yellow Jersey and the Giro d'Italia's Pink Jersey.
