The Las Vegas Review-Journal is a daily newspaper published in Las Vegas, Nev. It is the largest circulating daily newspaper in Nevada, and the paper is owned by Sheldon Adelson's News + Media Capital Group LLC. Adelson also owns a daily newspaper in Israel called Israel Hayom.[1] According to its Facebook page, the paper's mission aims to "improve the lives of Southern Nevadans by building a stronger community through information, insights and inspiration."[2]
As of 2016, Las Vegas Review-Journal is Nevada's largest newspaper and has a circulation of 167,000 readers.[3]
Three years later, the Joint Operating Agreement with the Las Vegas Sun was renogotiated and the Review-Journal started to print the Sun as an insert.[5] New Media Investment Group Inc. purchased the paper in February 2015.[6]
As of January 2016, Sheldon Adelson and his company, News + Media Capital Group LLC, own the Review-Journal (he bought it in December 2015).[7]
