Gopi is a small village of 1663 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gopi depends on akarabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 300.00% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gopi's pin code is 204215^[4], and village code is 01384000. The area of Gopi is segregated as 1400 hectares irrigated area, 100 hectares unirrigated area. the 100 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.91 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gopi is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 6967 and has total administration over 1118 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 1823 male, 496 female with 1721 (74.21%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1428 males and 293 females. 641 males and 46 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 548 male and 192 female agricultural labor. 598 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of akarabad and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
