Hardcore

Hardcore or hXc started as an underground form of punk in the early 1980s and began to gain popularity in the mid '80s. Typically it features lightning fast lyrics and guitar riffs, and heavy drums.

Bands such as: Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Die Kreuzen and Minor Threat are considered hardcore.

There are both significantly Christian and non-Christian movements within hardcore.
