Luigi

Luigi is Mario's younger brother in the Mario series. His attire consists of a green shirt and blue overalls, and he is more slender than his brother Mario. Luigi doesn't go on as many adventures as Mario, but he proves to be just as effective in a dangerous situation. Luigi has stronger legs than Mario, allowing him to jump higher.

More generally, the Italian name Luigi is analogous to the English name Louis (sometimes spelled Lewis).
