Derhan is a small village of 550.3 hectares in Koraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Derhan depends on Sirsa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Derhan's pin code is 212104[4], and village code is 05654900. The area of Derhan is segregated as 615.24 hectares irrigated area, 112.55 hectares unirrigated area. the 69.67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
Derhan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Derhan is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2072 and has total administration over 312 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 473 (22.83%) males constitute 234 (11.29%) of the population and females 239 (11.53%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 8 (0.39%) males constitute 5 (0.24%) of the population and females 3 (0.14%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 693 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 468 male, 225 female with 678 (97.84%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 459 males and 219 females. 304 males and 160 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 120 male and 46 female agricultural labor. 15 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirsa (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
