Ḥaninai (Ḥanina) Kahana B. Abraham:

Principal (gaon) of the academy at Pumbedita (782-786). Nothing is known of his life and labors except that he displeased the exilarch, and was therefore removed from office, Huna Mar ha-Levi being installed in his place.
