Simhara is a small village of 172 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Simhara depends on Phaphund (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Simhara is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Simhara's pin code is 206247[4], and village code is 04154800. The area of Simhara is segregated as 66 hectares irrigated area, 54 hectares unirrigated area. the 34 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Simhara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Simhara is a census village in the district of Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1462 and has total administration over 246 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 903 (61.76%) males constitute 495 (33.86%) of the population and females 408 (27.91%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 477 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 375 male, 102 female with 443 (92.87%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 350 males and 93 females. 119 males and 87 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 190 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 34 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phaphund (NP) and Auraiya to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
