From Jewish Encyclopedia (1906)

Kossarski, Julius:

German poet; born 1812 at Bromberg; died there July 1, 1879. He went to Berlin to take up the study of literature, afterward studying philosophy and philology at the university. Ill health induced him, however, to return shortly to his native city, where he turned to numismatics. He published the following works: "Wallfahrt in Palästina" (1847); "Sagen des Morgenlandes" (1852); "Der Mönch von Meran" (1855); "Titus oder die Zerstörung von Jerusalem" (1855); and others.
