Mandar is a small village of 212 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mandar depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mandar's pin code is 212405[4], and village code is 05604200. The area of Mandar is segregated as 122 hectares irrigated area, 10 hectares unirrigated area. the 48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mandar is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2147 and has total administration over 305 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 454 male, 72 female with 308 (58.56%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 280 males and 28 females. 211 males and 13 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 14 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 218 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell carpet and make their living.
