Holiday Inn (Movie)

From Conservapedia

Holiday Inn is a 1942 movie starring Bing Crosby. This film is notable for introducing the Irving Berlin-penned song "White Christmas". It was later re-made as the 1954 movie White Christmas.

Holiday Inn was a musical about an inn which is only open for 12 holidays each year, featuring musical and stage entertainment appropriate to each holiday. The movie was released in August 1942, but became known mainly as a Christmas movie because the Christmas portion closed out the film, and because of the popularity of the song "White Christmas" which captured the somber mood of the public during the film's release during World War II.
