Hatigan is a small village of 489 hectares in Karchhana Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hatigan depends on Allahabad (M Co, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Hatigan's pin code is 212301[4], and village code is 05538900. The area of Hatigan is segregated as 353 hectares irrigated area, 22 hectares unirrigated area. the 65 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Hatigan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Hatigan is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 5563 and has total administration over 842 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 1258 (22.61%) males constitute 637 (11.45%) of the population and females 621 (11.16%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2033 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1307 male, 726 female with 878 (43.19%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 665 males and 213 females. 176 males and 13 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 181 male and 142 female agricultural labor. 1155 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Allahabad (M Co and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
