Louis Agassiz

From Conservapedia

Jean Louis Rodolphe Agassiz (1807—1873) was a Swiss geologist and zoologist who immigrated to the United States. He was the first to propose in a formal scientific paper the existence of a massive glacier in the recent past in Switzerland, to render it like Greenland.[1]

A prominent zoologist, Agassiz was an outspoken critic of Darwin's Theory of Evolution. However, he promoted his own evolutionary system, which called for spontaneous creation and parallel evolution of species.
