Basic (Organization)

The British American Security Information Council (BASIC) is an independent organization which researches and examines global security issues. Its policy-making assessments cover the areas of nuclear policies, military strategies, armament and disarmament. BASIC covers both the United States and the United Kingdom, and has offices on both sides of the Atlantic. The goal of the organization and its counsel is to foster informed debate on security issues facing both nations.^[1]
