Coretta Scott King

Coretta Scott King (April 27, 1927 – January 30, 2006) was the widow of slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King. While not as vocal, she continued his legacy of seeking equal rights for minorities and guarding the memory of her husband.[1]

Some prominent African American leaders were estranged from Ms. King.
