Isawta is a small village of 275.1 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Isawta depends on Koraon (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Isawta's pin code is 212303[4], and village code is 05621200. The area of Isawta is segregated as 32.27 hectares irrigated area, 166.54 hectares unirrigated area. the 20.23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Isawta has One post office (Aunta B.O) and One public telephone. Isawta has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Isawta is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2303 and has total administration over 383 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 22 (0.96%) males constitute 11 (0.48%) of the population and females 11 (0.48%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 929 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 511 male, 418 female with 688 (74.06%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 374 males and 314 females. 206 males and 165 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 105 male and 126 female agricultural labor. 241 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Koraon (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
