Paraura is a small village of 560 hectares in Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paraura depends on Chharra Rafatpu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Paraura's pin code is 202129[4], and village code is 01344000. The area of Paraura is segregated as 453.45 hectares irrigated area, 12.74 hectares unirrigated area. the 2.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Paraura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Paraura is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4645 and has total administration over 736 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 659 (14.19%) males constitute 352 (7.58%) of the population and females 307 (6.61%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1541 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1155 male, 386 female with 604 (39.2%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 508 males and 96 females. 336 males and 50 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 58 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 937 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chharra Rafatpu and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
