Mittai is a small village of 519 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mittai depends on Dewa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mittai's pin code is 225301[4], and village code is 05753700.

Mittai has One post office (Mittai B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mittai has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mittai is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3620 and has total administration over 625 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1011 (27.93%) males constitute 526 (14.53%) of the population and females 485 (13.40%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dewa (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
