Marar is a small village of 238.6 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Marar depends on koraon, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply Two tanks, Two tubewells and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Marar is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Marar's pin code is 212305[4], and village code is 05620500. The area of Marar is segregated as 11.33 hectares irrigated area, the 0.46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
Marar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Marar is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 132 and has total administration over 26 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 39 male, 24 female with 58 (92.06%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 36 males and 22 females. 4 males and 6 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 25 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 5 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of koraon and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
