Aleppo

From Conservapedia

Aleppo is a city in Syria, the next largest after the capital Damascus.

It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, having been occupied since around 5000 BC.

It is famous for its citadel, built by the son of Saladin, Ghazni.

During the Syrian War, Allepo was the site of a bloody battle that saw most of the city destroyed. It's remnants are split between Bashar Al-Assad, and the Syrian democratic forces, with some suburbs under Free Syrian Army control.
