Clown

From Conservapedia

A clown is a comic performer. Clowns come from a broad tradition of historical performances.

Modern day clowns usually work in circuses, theatrical productions, movies or domestic parties as entertainers, and typically wear brightly colored clothes and heavy facial makeup. While much of their appeal is to young children, a fear of clowns - coulrophobia - is not altogether uncommon amongst younger children and some adults also.
