Colorado Supreme Court Justices To Face Competition This Election Year

Colorado: Due to what opponents say are some clearly partisan rulings by the Colorado Supreme Court, four Supreme Court Justices will face tougher competition when they come up for retention this November. The justices are Mary Mullarkey, who is chief justice, Nancy Rice, Michael Bender, and Alex Martinez, and are all up for retention later this year. Much criticism of the court has stemmed from one ruling in particular that allowed the government to hold some revenue from property taxes and put it towards the public school system.[1]
