Arkansas Community Foundation

From Conservapedia

Arkansas Community Foundation is a statewide philanthropy resource for comprehensive charitable gift planning for individuals, nonprofits and corporations.

Established through the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation and the commitment of a number of community leaders throughout the state, ARCF remains Arkansas’ only statewide community foundation.

Working together with fund donors, grant recipients and communities, the foundation is a catalyst for building charitable giving in Arkansas

ACF helps communities build permanently endowed assets with its 27 local offices serving 40 counties. The aim is to unite local leadership with a statewide board and staff resources.

Through 19 youth advisory councils, the foundation promotes interest in charitable giving among the next generation. These groups of high school students learn about philanthropy through developing funds and making grants to nonprofit organizations that deal with youth issues.

The foundation unites financial advisers and clients with charitable needs statewide.  Financial advisers provide information about the foundation and how it serves charitable giving needs. The aim is to help clients gain maximum tax advantages while aiding Arkansas’ communities.

The foundation administers charitable funds with assets of almost $107 million.
