Hammath ("Hot Springs")

Hammath ("Hot Springs"):

One of the fortified cities of Naphtali (Josh. xix. 35). It is probably the same as Hammoth-dor, which was allȯtted to the Levites in Naphtali ( ib. xxi. 32), and which, in the parallel list of I Chron. vi. 76, is called "Hammon." For its geographical position see Emmaus .
