Urdu

From Conservapedia

Urdu is an Indo-European language spoken in Pakistan and northern India.

Relation to Other Languages[edit]

Urdu and Hindi are mutually intelligible and many linguists consider them to be dialects of the same language, rather than two separate languages. In addition, Hindi is written with a syllabic script descended from Sanskrit, while Urdu is written in a modified form of the Arabic script.
