Faridpur Kala is a small village of 135 hectares in Tanda Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Faridpur Kala depends on Iltifatganj Baz, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Faridpur Kala's pin code is 224145[4], and village code is 06007500. The area of Faridpur Kala is segregated as , 23.89 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 14.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Faridpur Kala is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1507 and has total administration over 230 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Iltifatganj Baz and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
